Building a Play:
Play Designer takes a simple but unique approach
to building plays.
1) You can add one player at a time, or add
many at once.
2) Once you do, you can simply drag the player where you want them to be
placed.
3) There are two main menus in the system. Right clicking on the field
will give you options for the entire play; right clicking
on the player will give you options for that player.
4) You can draw a one sequence play, or you can draw your play in stages
(multiple sequences) and allow the designer to compile the play for you and
be able to show the individual sequences as well.
The screen is split up in a menu for the play
(right click on the field) and a menu for each player. (right click on the player). Each sport in the play designer
series works the same way. We are using Football Play Designer to build the plays, but the concept is shared throughout.
Step 1) Right
click on the field to add a new player. Once you have the player on the
screen, you can drag them wherever you want to.

Step 2) Right Click on the Player - Add Custom
Pattern and Draw the Route Using the Left Mouse Button at each point of the
route. Click the Right Button to End. You will have up to nine
clicks for each route.
This is left click 1....

This is left click 2....

This is left click 3....when you are up to your
last click, simply Right click to end the route.

Step 3) You can add more players to your play by repeating steps one
and two.
Step 4) What
makes Play Designer unique is the ability to build the play out of
sequences....You can build the frames of the play and the software will put
together the entire play for you.

Step 5) Once you
create your first sequence, make sure that somebody starts and ends with the
ball and click next sequence. The software will move the players to the
next spot on the field and properly control who has the ball. The you can
continue to build subsequent sequences and repeat. More info at our
sequence page...
